Finding Your Business Bestie
Life as an entrepreneur can be so lonely. You start out the journey super excited, but those closest to you don’t seem to care. And trying to figure out this social media thing only has gotten more and more complicated. We aren’t living in 2015 when you could post something and watch it get tons of traction and engagement in minutes. And the worst part is it feels like nobody understands, well nobody that is not in business that is.
Trust me, all solopreneurs like you have felt lonely and some point too. Like they are doing all of the things, and nobody is listening. Trying to navigate what you should and shouldn’t be doing in business. Should you post more on social media? Oh wait it’s all about reels… Not sure if you should record another video or work on your email list? Trying to figure out what marketing even means. The list of what you “should” be doing never ends.
Running a business can feel icky, sticky, and hard at time. But it can also feel fun, rewarding, and empowering too.
Over the last few years I’ve met some of the most inspiring women. One’s that when you leave the conversation all you think is wow I really wish we could spend more time together. But like most business owners, life is busy and it is hard to find the time to just hang out with other women.
Time and time again, I kept thinking I want to have my business besties right here next to me. Ready to bounce ideas off of. Cheering each other on when I feel like just giving up.
Having a brilliant idea but no idea how to execute it. Staying up late at night researching products, markets, and ideal customers. Feeling like your going to fail, and wanting so badly to succeed. Many business owners get lost in the this, or that phase. Or complete inaction because imposter syndrome is getting the best of you.
Solopreneurs don’t have to struggle to figuring everything out. You may be a solopreneur but you don’t have to go it alone. I have created Business Besties just for that. A think tank of individuals that are going through the same things as you. It’s a monthly membership that includes a monthly book discussion, bi-weekly trainings on all the business things you want to know. All trainings are recorded so you can go back to them time and time again, also you’ll have access to a slack where business besties can support each other.
Women are full of super powers, and the longer I’ve been in business the more I realize that we are stronger together.
